Technical after market cd player and blue&me

ok am trying to know if blue&me will work with an aftermarket cd player or a cassette player?

But why would you replace the stock head-unit?

There have been a few posts on this so I would recommend using the search button. Although I can tell you it will work with a Head unit that has an AUX in, but you have to convert the Blue&me input wires back into a 3.5mm jack. However, the B&M will only be heard when the Head Unit is in AUX mode, and therefore when your phone rings it will display on the dash, but not be heard untill AUX mode is selected on the HU

Some head units recognise the aux signal when the phone rings and auto switches to aux, my old mutant one did and so did a pioneer but my current kenwood doesn't!
