Technical 695 big bore kit - pushrod issue

I have rebuilt a 650cc engine with a Athena 695 kit, the machining/ engine rebuild shop have assembled the engine but have informed me they believe the pushrods are approximately 5ml to short.! Can anyone suggest a possible reason this has occurred? Any help appreciated?? Regards Dave

i've used this kit.
did you convert a:
500 to 695 or
650 to 695?
I bought new 650 rods and lifters and had no trouble.

My main issue was the head bolt length - bolts too short
