Technical 3ltr injector issue ??!

Fiat 3.0 iveco engine injector issue.
Miss fire on injector number 4 when under load. Fuel gauge drops and empty light flashing as if on fuel ! And drops to 3 cylinders. Quick off,on of the key and back to 4 cylinders and gauge back to normal. Engine light on a code" low voltage cylinder no4 "

Is it worth pulling it out and swaping 3 for 4 and seeing if the code moves ? Or just replace ?
How hard are they to pull ? As hard as people say ? And which kit would you recommend for pulling them ? Slide Hammer or threaded Extractor type ?

Hi Pete. The fuel gauge behaviour is not what you would expect from a faulty injector. I suggest you investigate the wiring and connector to the fuel gauge sender and lift pump in the top of the tank. This could be a fuel starvation issue.

Checked fuel pump plug and wiring and all seem OK..
But issue hasn't gone away, as my wife has reported its still doing it today on her drive up to Devon. ��
