Technical 2014 Panda exhaust

Hi all, new poster here, 2014 Panda Lounge.
i was giving the car a service at the weekend and i noticed a sizeable kink in the exhaust pipe in between the down pipe flange and the flexi pipe.
Is this normal as it seems like it would be restrictive to exhaust gas flow?
