Could you please take a look at this image for me… 2014 4x4 and that’s the joint at the front of the prop shaft; is it a failed bearing?
How easy to fix / cost?

Yes we have had the car since new
Looking at youtube i see there is a bearing / cv joint there at the end of the prop shaft, are you saying that does not contain any grease or fluid that could come out when it fails?
A couple of years back we had the dual mass flywheel fail and the clutch died, that was an expensive job as the layshaft gets destroyed on these when that happens and so the gearbox came out and the whole thing repaired / reworked.
Im just hoping its this joint bearing /seal and not a problem with the layshaft again.
That grease comes from the shaft end. I asked if you bought the car new since it could be some kind of lubricant that the previous onwer used to reduce some noise or something.
Yes that’s what I watched so I’m hoping it’s this same issue as it seems a relatively quick fix.
It doesn’t seem to be oil more like a khaki green grease colour.
