Hi Guys,
I've got a slipping clutch (intermittant atm) but going to get it replaced.
My workshop are quoting 7 hours for the job.
Does this sound reasonable ?
TIA

I have done clutch fitting on 05 Citroen Relay 2.8 front wheel drive with same engine as the Ducato, on my own on my back with jacks and axle stands, which took me the best part of a day. I was in my late 50s at the time so hard work for an older bloke.
With a garage ramp and assistant it should take a bit less, I am sure "quick fit" type places can do it quicker but personally if you trust your regular garage and you do not intend to do it yourself, I would "bit the bullet" and get your regular garage to do it.
I was a fully qualified motor engineer working mobile. I am sure you will get plenty of people who will tell you they can do it in five minutes. ;)
