Grande Punto 1.3 MJet Engine light on/not the MAF Sensor

Hello, I'm a newbie to the forum but have been driving Fiats for a while now.
I own a 1.3 Multijet Punto grande on the 08 plate,
and the engine light came on, lost power at 2500 revs, I called out the RAC and they're guy said that the MAF sensor was the most likely cause, I replaced this with a new one but still have the same problem, always happens on the motorway when I start to accelerate! Does anyone have any idea what it could be? Would appreciate the help.

100% no point in guessing get a proper diagnostics done to pinpoint why engine light is on, waste of money trying to get people to guess the problem.

could be

MAP SENSOR
LAMBDA PROBE
EGR VALVE
INJECTORS


list is endless, so as i say, get it plugged in and get the fault codes
