Have a nice weekend
All 0 ohms isn't possible unless I have told you wrongWith the ABS still disconnected
Clear the codes
Crank the engine a few times
Read the codes, you will probably get some network errors as we have broken the daisy chain
Off the internet most of day
We can test the wiring for the CANBUS at the diagnostic port
View attachment 443134
Battery disconnected
Resistance between both pins
Resistance between each pin and ground
Resistance between each pin and power
The third party radio does it go off with the ignition
Does bit have a canbus adaptor fitted
Sure no worries but you forgot to mention abs connected or disconnected? Because i plugged it back in and measured with the battery completely removedAll 0 ohms isn't possible unless I have told you wrong
Or we are on the wrong pins is going to be hard for me to check anything untill I get back
I disconnected the battery fully as it was removed from the car but i didn't wait as long as the guy did in the video I'll make sure to wait longer and to test the voltage as he did too0 ohms is not correct even with the Abs And radio disconnect
The system does have to be asleep
It easier just to disconnect the battery negative while measuring
Just checkingHello there after double checking and using another multimeter turned out the can is broken somewhere as i am getting open on the multimeter as if i didn't plug it at all and the 12v socket got the right power on it (battery voltage)
It's not 0 ohms it's open 0LJust checking
Pin 14 to pin 6
Resistance is still 0 ohms
With the battery disconnected
