Afternoon All,

I thought instead a postng a fault or problem, I would post how well my Stilo (1.9JTD MW) done, when I decided to book a trip to Bruges Belgium at 3am!

Drove to Folkstone Sunday evening 6&1/2 hours (M6:bang, got up early Monday morning for the 08:50 shuttle to France, got off and drove to Bruges Belgium!, spent a few hours there and drove back in one go home, left BRuges Belgium at 17:00 (there time) and after delays in Calais due to people inside the tunnel, arrived home at 01:45 this morning (tue).

The Stilo didnt miss a beat, stop start on the M6, cost £90ish in fuel and still got a quarter of a tank, Cruise control on at 80mph or 130Km/h, made it a lovly drive along with leather seats, getting 54mpg with the 850ish miles done. Also seen another Stilo Mw in Bruges!

was a long drive home!!

It's great to read about an ambitious and successful adventure like this, and not just more stuff about broken springs and that bleedin' airbag light.....!

For the past two years mine has went from just outside Edinburgh to just out side Amsterdam (No it never drive on the water, i got a ferry) Headed south through Holland, through Belgium and down to the bottom of Luxembourg. From there over to Cochem in Germany then up to south Holland to visit a mate for a few days. Few added miles driving around areas visiting then back home. The car has never seen a mechanic since i bought it and in just over two years all its had is a set of tyres and a oil change. It has sailed through the past two MOT's and i dont get breakdown cover due to trusting this car. I would like to say its going back this year but i am taking a van next time.
