Hi all, for the past few months I've been reading the posts and I have a problem with my 2004 Stilo, it will not rev above 2000, If I hold down the peddle until 3000 revs then it pull away like lighting, So I have had a new AGR valve and today I had a new Mass air flow sensor, and its still will not pull, I also use this car for pulling a trailer ( no chance now though )
Can anyone help ... thanks

Do you have any equipment to read fault codes and any warning lights on dash ?

Other items that could cause you power low power could be hole in intercoolerhose caused by rubbing of nearside (uk) wheel arch liner can be easily checked by looking behind the wheel arch liner on nearside to check.
Also boost solenoid valve for turbo located towards nearside front beneath battery is prone to water damage and if faulty or not is good idea to move to upper side of plastic battery box , more info found in guides section..the valve usually gives fault code and eml light on dash if faulty.
When reading fault codes with suitable reader note all fault codes before clearing them, and then see which one or more than one reappear. But having any current fault codes will help

Hi I'm getting a reader from E.bay, Engine light comes on for a few days then goes off again , strange car this one :(

Cheap eBay reader does read some codes, so hope it helps you, once you get car sorted if you intend keeping it then investing in multiscan software and correct cables is a good investment.
Well until you can get any fault codes read it would be worthwhile taking a quick look behind nearside wheel arch liner, just undoing the front screws of it will allow enough space to look and see if the liner has been rubbing on the large hose behind it as in time it will rub a hole into the hose, I cable tied a protective piece of rubber onto mine to protect it from this happening but it has caused problems to others.
Failing that and you get any fault codes, you could check out the boost solenoid valve even cleaning up the electrical contacts on it and moving to a more sensible position away from any water damage that it gets in the factory fitted position, some good info in the still guides section on that plus a quick search oof still forum and you will soon find what fault code it throws up when it does not work correctly, as it assists in actuating the turbo that kicks in around the 2000rpm mark which is similar to the problem you have.
