I've purchased a stilo 1.9jtd as a project car I've never done a fiat before I've always worked on Ford and Peugeot but I've always liked the look of the stilo the front lights don't work so need some ideas and also handbrake just doesn't move up or down hope this is a simple fix too just thought I'd ask on here to get me started

In what way dont your lights work and do your rear brakes stick on when you try to drive

Only one side light working no other lights working and brakes don't stick on drives great

Check all the fuses for main and low beams. Is anything showing up on the dash to say theres a bulb out or fault

No lights on dash at all this is why I'm bit confused ikl check fuses and that tomoz been that busy never thought to look at those lol I purchased this jtd and a punto today so been drifting between both cars but I've fell in love with the stilo already don't think I'll sell it on lol

I normally buy cars as a hobby for weekend projects but this stilo is fantastic

The motor's normally breakdown on the front headlight and handbrake cable normally tend to cease up from my last few stilo's.

As above id go down the route of checking fuses and also beware that front headlights are different between models. eg with front fog fights fitted inside the unit, and 3/5/multiwagon.

if you have the software you can test the front headlights etc.

All the wires seem to be burnt out on front lights so looks like going to have to replace them all

Thats not good news(n), I would go the scrappy get a set of lights along with the connectors and cut the loom quite far back so you have a bit or room/play to reconnect into your loom.

I would wanna find out why its melted before putting your new connectors and headlights in or you will be back to square one.

I dont know much about the headlight s as said before only that there are different types.
