Ok so I have had my car into the garage today to have the new Alternator Belt and Tensioner, but its still got a squeeking that's a little annoying, they mentioned something about the bottom pully not looking healthy, could it be this????

might be a bearing...just an idea.

Remove the belt and start the engine for 20-30 seconds listen if the sound is gone.

Sorry, should have mentioned, it was a different type of squeak before the belt snapped, no it wasn't there when there was no belt on, only does it on idle, the garage looked at all the idlers and the bearing on the others as best they could and they recon they are all ok, only thing in question is the bottom pulley.

Take a spray bottle with some water and spray the belt..if it's the pulley it should stop the noise

What pully did they replace ? , there is a free runner on the bottom , mine had the exact same Squeel well sounds like it ,,, i took the pully off , one 15mm bolt and the pully comes off , , suck alot of grease on the bearing and 23k more and the squeel has came back , but it was the teninor this time , replaced that today and my squeel has gone

They replaced the actual tensioner, weather is abit better so I will go take the wheel off and the arch liner and get the wd out and work out which one it is then go get a replacement item.

no need to take the archlining out mate , best bet would be to take the pullys off and grease the bearing up , its pritty simple tbh , off the top of my head all you need is a flat blade screw driver to pop the cover over the bolt , a 15 mm socket and spanner to crack the tentinor off , , and the socket to remove the free pully ,,,

Well you could be bodgy and just spray the leub in on to the back of the pully to see if it inproves it , and if it dose , strip the pully off and grase the bearing up :)

ohh dont mind my bad spelling

Disconnect battery.

Remove serpentine belt
Carefully stick a screw driver into the cooling fan to hold the internals still
Rotate the pulley - it should freewheel in one direction and lock up in the other
