Hi everyone!

After washing my car and fitting airbag connector tighter (airbag warning signal appeared) my low beam headlights stopped working. High beams and fog lights work. ECU doesn´t signal any lamp error. Fuse is fine. What could be problem? It was really wet outside and I washed my car, and my ecu has custom placement so it´s right next to battery. Could it be moisture? I have kept my car indoors for about 2 hours but it didn`t help. Are there any experts familiar with this situation?

Greetings!

The same thing happened to me after raining a lot.
The two h7 bulbs (low beam) died and I had to replace them.
No ECU error and the fuse was fine.

Cheers

When I bought my stilo, I had a burned out low beam bulb, and no bulb error. So I'm not sure headlamps always throw a bulb error, depending on what's happened to them.

Main and dipped headlamp bulbs do not give a bulb failure warning. It's assumed that the driver would notice a failed headlamp bulb by the light pattern on the road.

Problem solved!

It was burned bulb. I trusted too much on computer to signal lamp error, should have learned something from Terminator! :D It´s stupid though that you have all these bulb failure indicators but no low beams. Well I´m grateful it´s fixed, thanks to everyone who replied!

Bulbs failure is to tell you about build you don't normally see or know about, such as indicators, and brake lights etc. You should be able to see if a dipped or main beam bulb has blown by the lack of light on the road (y)

I have a good headlight story.
I was in my Lancia (last car) and on starting off on a dark road had a bulb blow (right hand side). Only 5km from home so kept going. Of course met a police car going the other way in town and he pulled me over.
He says "Do you realise you have a light out?" as he gets out his fine book. I say " Do you realise you have the same light out on your car?"
He looks, gulps and says "I might just let you off this time then":D
