Hi I had some issues with my bonnet closing, I closed the bonnet and it would not catch and close down so I played with the mech and oiled it and it closed.
However it now stays down and I can not get the Bonet to release I've taken the release handle apart and tried pulling the cable by hand still no luck.
Any ideas???

Try pulling the cable while someone else is pressing down on the bonnet near the lock mechanism.

Okay what's the thought process I'm trying to work out whats preventing it from opening.

It looks as though the bonnet has gone down too far as the right hand side is slightly below the headlight

There dosen't seem to be any play in the cable.

If you've taken the handle off, you'll probably need to pull the inner cable with pliers.
