Hi guys I bought my fiat stilo 1.9 jtd 2003 plate and I realised my heaters don't work or my ac any 1 could tell me what it could be like a fuse or something more technical please help need it fixed ASAP because of this wet weather and cannot de mist my windows in the morning because there is no heating p.s they did come on once for a few seconds but went straight back off and have not been on since. Thanks guys

Hi. You need to give a little more info on the problem.

Does the heater fan run or not?

If the fan runs but no air is coming out of the vents then it’s probably the pollen filter blocked.

No don't think the fan works because any setting I put it on there is no noise but when I'm driving and change it to hot or cold that works but that's not the fan working its the air intake if you know what am saying lol

Heaters not working

Hi guys please help I have had my stilo 2003 1.9jtd for a few months now and my heaters don't work they have come on once for 2 secs but nothing since I am thinking it's going to be the heater motor any advice please

It's manual heaters with ac and the fan does not work at all I have checked every fuse in the car coz not sure which 1 is for fan but all fuses work fine

The 2 fuses for the heater fan motor are F31 (7.5 Amp) in the dashboard fuse box behind the drop down flap in front of the driver's right knee and F8 (30 Amp) in the engine compartment fuse box behind the battery. Blade type fuses can develop a hairline crack so best to test them by substitution or with a battery and bulb.

If the fuses are deffinately OK, try substituting relay T8 in the engine fuse box with a similar one.
