my 2003 stilo jtd has developed a problem with the 2 front windows and the mirrors they all work but for the opposite side so sat in the driver seat if i operate the right hand mirror or window the mirror or window on the left side operates the only thing iv done on the car lately is fitted a new battery

any idid how to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated

I think I've heard of this once before on here in a similar circumstance. Try disconnecting the battery again for half hour and see if it resets and sorts itself.

Similar problem there, which was cured by doing the battery removal as mentioned above. How long did you keep yours disconnected for?

battery disconnected over night no joy still the same

but had an idea and fixed it going by the fact that both the front can controllers are the same i unplugged the both front door looms in the door shuts and turned ignition on so body can controller recognises they are missing i then reconnected the drivers side and turned the ignition on and back off then the passenger side and turned ignition back on and hay all is working as it should i guess the body controller thought the drivers side door was fitted on other side of car (that way switches would be round the right way)
