Hi guys, new to the stilo world so hope someone can help. I have recently bought a 52 plate 1.6 16v dynamic , everything was fine apart from a couple of electrical problems which i managed to sort and it popped out of gear a few times but now i am getting a strange whirring sound when in 1st to 3rd gear which gets louder as i accelerate, Also a crunching everytime i put it in reverse. Before i take it to a garage i was wondering if anyone could shed some light on what might be the problem.

Gearbox oil maybe?

Clutch needing bled, or dragging clutch?

Could it be the syncromesh?

Could be I guess, I suggested the cheapest easiest DIY check first..... Synchro could be cheap.

Hmmmm sycromesh? sounds expensive??? In all honesty I know very little bout stilos so think best option is garage and get it checked, cheers for help guys
