As from the 1st of APR your Stilo will fail the MOT due to the dash warning lights.
Gonna get my done mid March, gives me 12 months grace then

Yeah I have this issue. I tried contact cleaner but don't think that's the issue. If I stand outside the car and turn it on (no one sat down) the light is on anyway --> not an occupancy sensor issue if there's no one sat in there?

Thinking about actually pulling (or pushing) the wires out of the orange plugs, cleaning, then shoving the things back in! Just blasting them doesn't want to work.

dweben, that's what I done, but I also closed the contacts (seat end) which made it a tighter fit but also a better connection!

just chop all the orange connectors out n rejoin with wire connectors, n solder together,
Make sure the batt disconnected.
1 under each seat
1 above each rear shock in boot
1 in behind panel in roof of glove box

There is only a yellow connector above the glovebox.

Of course, you could have an actual airbag or sensor fault. In which case, no amount of chopping connectors is going to cure it.

I left the batt cover off and bonnet open and yeap it chucked down
Now the bloody fuel pump fuse keeps blowing as the water must of got into the fuse box
Please reassure me it only need drying out

Got it drying out in the airing cupboard
Thats why I never play with cars as always cause more problems than fix
