Hello.

I've been watching my damaged right front wing for over two years now, and getting sad each time. Luckily it's not the driver's side (in Norway) so I rarely see it.

Getting it fixed is not an option, as it's difficult to repair. An Alfa friend of mine is going to Latvia next month, and is willing to pick up a pre-sprayed (PPG color coded) front wing for me at a Fait/Alfa garage (he's always done bodywork there, and they are really good). I know the color might differ a bit after time, but I don't mind that.

But how diffucult is it to change this one? It's a long time since I worked on the Ritmo Abarth. Are there any precautions I should take? And has anyone removed and put on a new wing?

I need a little guidance here. :eek:

Its a simple bolt on and off job Morten..bolts are down the inside of the wing /where the bumper meets the wing and at the sill..you need another pair of hands so you dont scratch any of the other panels..(y)

A little help again. I have now found codes for the front fenders (I guess that's what you call a "wing") but as there are different numbers for left and right (not actually a surprise) I don't know which one to order. I know I need the right side, but is that "DS" or "SN" on the e-per? Can anyone check this, as it's not just a little important, but extremely important in this matter.

The left wing is shown as no. 1 at this e-per picture, with references ti DS and SN.

I see two bolts at the bumper. Does this mean the bumper must off? The bolt at the sill is faily easy (not shown here), but what about the one at bracket at no.3? Where is that?

Will I need any bodywork glue?

Morten.

Nope bumper doesnt come off just remove the bolts that hold the two together..;) number 3 is a door hinge I think might be wrong tho :bang: lol.. you say right wing so I take it its the passenger side one ..quite often they look at them from the front of the car hense the left and right..

Eh... That didn't clear up much. Haha. :D For you, Phil, my friend, it's the driver's side wing I need. But for me, it's the passenger side. The right side of the car when looking from it's ass. Is that DS or SN?

Ha :) left hand drive ..forgot that one.I would email them with the details so the order doesnt mess up..is your eper showing the car as a left or right hand drive..:idea:

It's from the Italian for left (Sinistra) and right (Destra) as sitting in the car.

SN = Left side
DN = Right side

Passenger side for a LHD car is the Right side so DN.

Dave.

There you go I think he has cleard that one up for you Morty..:D

Look what I've found.

Another Stilo's death, my Stilo's breath. I've checked with the importer, and they confirm the same color code of BLU JET 408/B referring to the VIN.

The 5-door and MW share the same front wing part numbers. Propably getting it shipped tomorrow.
