Hi, as anyone done an ecu reset on a 1.6 Stilo and what is involved. Also do i loose any codes like the radio imobilizer etc.

Disconnecting the battery for an hour will reset the ecu, as will clearing fault codes. You lose basic driver preference settings that you can reinput

Decks, just means basic stuff like time & date (consumption figures are also lost)

types?)with Marelli 5NF T1 ecu :

these are the official codes as sent by the Examiner diagnostic tester-
they can be sent by ELM 323 / 327 interface once connected using Hyperterminal:

30 00 07 xx xx xx xx xx unblock immobilizer (xx = code on code card)
30 01 07 airco control ( 00= stop)
30 02 07 control of ignition coil 1 (00= stop)
30 03 07 control of ign. coil 2 (00= stop)
30 04 07 self-learning of throttle body (30 7F 00 for stop/optional)
21-7C to check > if value is 7C then S.L. is ok.
30 05 07 gasoline pump relay (00= stop)
30 06 07 RPM counter control (00= stop)
30 08 07 control for injector nr. 1 gasoline (00= stop)
30 09 07 nr. 2
30 0A 07 nr. 3
30 0B 07 nr. 4
30 0C 07 electric fan speed 1 ( 00= stop)
30 0D 07 fan speed 2
