I have a 1995 Punto 1.6 ELX Cabrio. It has got an intermittant fault. One morning it would not start as normal on first turn of the key. After waiting a moment it started immediatly on second attempt. Whilst stood at a junction it cut out but restarted again straight away. After being parked up for an hour it took 2 attempts to get it going again. It then ran perfectly again for a couple of days, but cut out at a junction again today. When running - all is well, uses no water etc and is not overheating. Before all this started I did change the coolant but thought I bled it properly. Could this be caused by an airlock or is it coincidental????? Any ideas what the fault is?
