Hi just bought a P reg punto as a little project and in the last week had the cylinder head off to polish and grind in valves, a new water pump, starter motor and new leads, oil filter, all gaskets and timming belt- oh the fun! Basically everything has been off and on again all electrics disconected and everything else!
After putting it all back together it wont start but will turn over. Eventually think i could narrowed problem down to ignition circuit, ie no spark at plugs and at coil. After reading another post think i could have found the problem!! But could do with some info on the location on fuse 23- where is it!! Haynes manual about as much use as chocolate toilet roll!! Also would the rpm sensor incorrectly positioned affect this??

Cheers,
Jon

Under the bonet ,near the batery is a black box . Remove the cover and you will see the fuses and the relay. It could be the motor relay that is not working the fuses or the crankshaft senzor. I say you should start checking the fuses and relay and if is still not working check the crankshaft senzor
Good Luck
