Hey guys! Not sure if I termed them correctly but the struts that hold the rear door hatch up are they model specific e.g 1.2, 1.8 etc or a generic fit for all Punto mk2 models? Using the Ebay search engine when you look at certain compatibility lists it says 'not compatible ' so not sure if there's different lengths involved, or maybe different gas tolerances for certain models? Or certain sellers just trying to bump people on the price ? Not sure but they all look the same? Some clarity on this would be appreciated as I need to buy some!??

3 door and 5 door have different part numbers.


What year is yours ? is it 3 or 5 door ?

they are uk made and about £13 each

I recommended sgs because a friend needed bonnet gas struts and sgs were the only people to supply the correct lift force.

Well I'm a big believer in treating others as you would expect to be treated ? 98% of FF'rs are polite, but there is the odd 2% that revel in Snidey comments and obnoxious behaviour when it's unnecessary. We are just trying to help each other out on here through the Forums knowledge base at the end of the day and I think people forget that sometimes ??
