Styling smooth wiper hole insurance

Hey. If smooth over my rear wiper hole. Would it affect insurance because my insurance document states
"You must inform insurance company when you do any changes the the vehicle that affects the way the vehicle performs or looks"
Just want to be on the safe side because I want to be covered 100% lol

I suggest giving them a quick call to ask if it'll affect your premium, sometimes you might be lucky they won't even touch your premium or it'd be very small bump. Make sure you do this before doing the work on the car, so you know your covered from every angle in terms of insurance

what i dont get is why people remove the rear wiper when it gives you much better benefits to rear view!

but yes - always inform the insurance of anything you do

the clue is in the wording of the policy

that said this is modification for the sake of it, it doesn't really improve the looks makes the car look even cheaper than it already is and reduces function and rear visibility.
It's just not worth doing

Remove the rear wiper and just use a rubber gromit to fill the hole. Then when you get annoyed that you can't see out the back when it's even the slightest bit wet you can put it back on

I hate the rear wiper....removed (or never factory fitted) on every car I've had. Each to their own

I got two and it adds an extra 5BHP maybe I should contact my insurance!

No, I believe decal stickers are not even major, so I wouldn't sweat over it

Wrong, decals are a modification, need to advise insurance. If smaller than a dealer sticker though I wouldn't bother, but if plastered up it would be adviseable

Yeah I agree it would be advisable if you plastered the rear window up with decals, but if someone did that they have lost the plot

I have two decals on rear window one on the left corner and one on the right corner which doesn't affect my vision, so I haven't bothered telling my insurance about that

You should do though, risk isn't only judged upon your visibility!

Now thinking about it, I think I did mention it to them when I told them about my tints and they weren't that all bothered about it... I guess insurers vary to each other?

Im really sorry guys but this is getting ridicolous
A sticker is a modification because it obstructs the view?
Can someone please phone any insurance tomorow and declare the modifications like the air freshener, the coins in the ashtray, the ice scraper on door pocket, the stickers on back, the tax disc holder, the seats covers and the shopping in the boot just to see how quickly they hang up before they think is a prank call!
Some people need a reality check on how insurance works...
Im doing a service to my car but im not using original fiat parts so i better phone insurance to ask them if im modifing my car ha ha ha CMON GUYS!!
