Hi i have a fiat punto, and latley i have had trouble starting the car.

This happens randomly, but when it does happen the engine will turn over but just not ignite.

Also this the engine will sometimes konk out if i have the engine on and am not moving.

anyone have any ideas?

Crankshaft sensor is a common culprit... first try cleaning it as they often get covered in muck, if not, replace. Could be worth having diagnostics done on it first tho so your not just taking wild stabs in the dark.
