HI, I have a 100HP but it seems to be leaking where the pipe joins the expansion tank and the pipe leading to the radiator. Has anyone replaced the pipe and/or the expansion tank? and does anyone know if the engine layout is covered in a Haynes manual for the 100HP.

Where is it leaking from? The pipe or the actual expansion tank?

Not sure, it seems to be the located where the pipe joins the expansion tank. I have ordered both parts, still waiting for the hose, which seems to be a specialist part that has to come from Italy. Cost about £50.00 for the pipe alone, the coolant tank was about £25.00. I didnt want to remove it without the parts available just in case something snapped off as i still need to use the car. I have tried to keep it workable by using self augmenting tape and ducktape. Just until the parts come.

I'm surprised a part like that is unique to the 100hp.

Yeah, so was I. I tried shop 4 parts as well. they said that they don't stock it either and they would have to order it in. and they also said that they didn't expect dealers to have it readily available either.

Just thought I give an update. I have changed both the pipe and tank. I could not see a hole in either, but the good news what ever had the hole in, it has now stopped. I did take some photos as I was working on it so if any one is interested I would post them up.
