Has anyone here found the offset pedals causing problems with their knees? i know mine are shot anyway, but over the last month I've noticed a lot of extra aggravation. Not sure it's the Panda, which has solved the back problems I was suffering in the 54 plate Polo...
Beginning to wonder whether I need to change for a large, comfortable saloon/estate car... :( (with lpg :) )

I have knee problems, maybe my left one BUT I had that problem well before the Panda. Generally speaking I find the Panda to be extremely comfortable.

I have fitted a footrest alongside the throttle pedal, so that I do not have to strain my foot on long motorway trips, because I find the throttle return spring far too light. Works a treat.
I have also adjusted the slant of the seat squab (not the seat back, which has its own generous adjustment built in) by raising it at the front by 10mm, which helps. I still need greater squab side support, and am just finalising an idea which I will experiment with.
For a low-cost small car, the seats are reasonable, but a few tweaks can make a huge improvement.

It's your posture, do you sit with knees splayed rather than close together?

I've never had any knee issue. I use rubber bands to add resistance to the throttle pedal. An ankle saver on long trips. Because I have the seat back as far as it'll go my legs are fairly straight and very comfortable.

The only car that gave me knee strain was my MG Midget the seat was at a seven degree angle to the pedals and the steering wheel was slightly to the left so it felt like I was driving sideways.

First of all get some of this

Your pedals dont created the problem,
i get some knee ache too while driving any car in the city, but i destryoed them at an office i worked and jumped up and down the stairs to deliver the papers.....
Consider buying an automatic if food supplements doesnt work....

My back / knee problems were not caused by my Panda, but I find it a lot more comfortable to sit in than our Accord. Even with all its electrical adjustments, I just can't sit comfortable in it.

I have the height adjustable seats so can easily adjust the squab angle on mine.

Thanks for all the replies.
I do find the seats comfortable, although best leg position leaves a bit of stretch to the steering wheel (and I sit quite upright in most cars - near 40 years of Land Rovering has seen to that!). Putting the seat back one further notch has eased the problem, so we'll see whether things get better... :)

A lot of people find the "italian" driving position uncomfortable. You either get used to it or get another car.

I got used to it but now I'm starting to get towards 30 I find it's giving me back trouble :(. So I decided I had to buy something more expensive but comfortable to drive and no more back pain :).

you are definately not on your own
My Seicento is agony after 20 miles on the motorway, and my Doblo is always causing right knee cramps.
It's got to be an Italian thing as my old Alfasud (RIP one of the nicest cars ever made) was also uncomfortable, then a list of 126's, 127 sport ......right through to Fiat 500 hire car in Italy last year. The reason why they all drive 2" from your rear bumper is flat out is the least painful option!!
Wait till you pass the 50 mark, the pain becomes unbearable.
