I don't use the AC as windows work, blows cold enough with just fan anyway.

My AC is cold, so yours probably needs re-gassing, especially if it's not been done since late 2006/early 2007 (whenever the car was made).

Probably for the best that 100HP is better without TC, on the basis that finding one with TC would be a right pain.

Well it wasn't in 2008. The press demo car didn't even have them.
