Just replaced OS/F control arm (or 'wishbone') on 2004 Panda Active (MOT failure due to ball joint - "DANGEROUS"!).

Anyone know what the correct torque settings are for the two subframe bolts and the ball joint spigot clamp?

Or any clues as to where I might find them?

Thanks.

Hello ,
there isn't a REAL manual covering the Panda,
BUT the Porter FIAT book covers MOST of the technology..,
Torque values are basically a sum of the loads on a given bolt,
the Diameter and pitch of it setting the necessary value,

the porter book states;

M8 (13mm hex head)= 30 / 40 Nm torque

M10 (17mm Head)= 60 / 80 Nm torque

M12 (19mm Head) = 90/100 Nm torque,

there are specifics for certain items - but they don't align perfectly with your description..sorry..!!

anyway I hope that makes more sense,

Charlie
