54 plate panda Active ( no A/C ), fans dead ( and partially seized ) but even 2nd hand replacements are stupid money like £85 ! Do any of the fans on other Fiats ( IE punto's etc ) fit ? All thats needed is the motor really.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated (y)

I would have thought the punto would be the same, kit would make sense for fiat not to have to have numerous different ones for each model.
Have you had a look on ebay? many cheap parts on there

Looking at Shop4parts it doesn't fit.

Could you post a pic- i might be able to sort something for you- if not PM me and I will give you an email add to send pic to.
Cheers

Thanks for the replies !

Its not going well either way. I found another motor which I bought, but its way fatter than the old one, so theres no way to make it fit, plugs a different size too so I have no idea what panda the motor came off.

The old motor was totally shot though and dead, burnt out inside. I would take some pics but the motor literally fell apart as I removed it from the cowling, so there is not much to see.

So due to a terribly tight time schedule I have ordered a universal fit 12" fan. But afterwards began to worry - The Fiat ones are not 2 speed are they ? Or in other words will a universal one burn out or otherwise go bang for some daft reason ?

If its just single speed then in theory the job should be done, and with winter coming up it won't likely need to work to hard anyway but due to a total lack of correct fans which are like gold dust.....not a lot of choice.

And, anyone want a panda fan motor ( a fat one ) ?
