Iv just purchased a punto dymanique 1.3D 57 reg. Is there any common faults i should know about? Also iv just put a tenna in the tank, it took it up to quarter of a tank, but iv noticed the needle is creepin down slowly, iv checked the pressures in tyres they are fine. Any ideas? Thanks

For common faults, just browse the Punto forum, but don't panic. If it is running nicely now, it will probably only throw up niggly faults, not suddenly collapse. The Punto forum for your model is the best place to ask specific questions, when you have something to ask about. With the 1.3D, use it often, don't neglect servicing, especially the oil changes and it will last well. Little use and neglect are its enemies.

If the fuel level is dropping without you using the engine, then look underneath for a leak. If it is dropping because you are driving it, this is normal. The fuel gauge is not linear. The lower quarter will drop apparently faster than the rest.
