Good morning I am new to the forum and on Sunday I should be picking up an 04 plate facelift Multipla. Someone put a brick through the drivers window that smashed the grey plastic trim on the door card and the electric window switch. Can anyone tell me if I buy a different colour door card off ebay can I easily remove the coloured bit so I can just replace the grey bit so the original coloured part of the door card stays the same? Thanks in advance.

If it's the grey plastic part that's got the top handle built into it, that is a separate part to the fabric-covered panel. The switch and it's surround is also a separate part form the larger plastic.

To remove the 'handle' panel, use a large-ish flat bladed screwdriver to undo the two big round covers (they pop out with a quarter turn); under them, you'll see two allen screw heads, either 4 or 5mm from memory. Then get your finger nails around the edge of the round speaker grille and ease it out, There are 3 spring clips around it's perimeter, so it just pulls out. Remove all the speaker screws, pull the speaker out and unplug it. The main moulding should then come away from the door, complete with the window switch attached; that can be eased out of it's hole more simply by pushing it from behind.

Thanks for the reply widemouthfrog, I have ordered the door handle and surround (so hope the right parts are coming lol) plus ordered the electric window switch. Just need to fix the non working interior heater fan and try and sort the airbag light then all good....

Plenty of advice on here about airbag light! First places to check are orange connectors under front seats (undo, spray with contact cleaner, push back together) if no joy then the one that did fixed my airbag light was the orange one on the rear driver side light cluster- pop off the trim, undo connector, clean, put back together! Good luck!
