Anyone tell me if and where there's an easy place to feed the cable to power an amp through the bulkhead?
If the radio is in the boot, why not run a cable externally underneath, down the bulkhead and along (or in) the chassis rails, there are plenty of places with attachment potential.
Would need a fuse immediately after the battery but boot access is fine from underneath, quicker than searching for the holy grail of a bulkhead access point and then having the trim up to run the cable.

Don't you already have a power out 'plug~in' in the NSR wall of the boot ?. Both of mine have. The outlet is live only when the ignition key is in the "ON" position (MAR?) I can't REM what the output is but its a totally different figure than the 'standard' cigarette lighter output
How big / power is the amp ?
Brilliant point. I never thought of that and I have used it myself to run the kids dvds in the back. I would go and look to see if there is a rating on the cover but The boot will be full of prams and junk.
Why not just take the power from the main fuse box in the dashboard , normally a fused spare should be available, failing that the idea of going under the car is the easist route and easily removed too if needs be.
Then you'd have 4 months searching for a hole to get the cable into the boot.
