http://www.clutch-specialists.co.uk/ do a Dual Friction Clutch which is what I'm leaning towards; this also uses the standard DMF. DickieP has this clutch setup and it has no issues with power whatsoever which is all I'm really after. Apparently comfort driving is lost somewhat however that won't be an issue for me. I should know in a month or so what I'm going for :)

My favourite way to kill an hour, reading a brilliant thread like this.

Fabulous looking car mate, I'm very jealous!

In my opinion, Abarth wheels will suit nicely, perhaps a member on here can photoshop onto your car to see if you would like them?

Although my punto has a GSR cone filter located where you originally put your Pipercross kit before suffering "water issues". what water issues were these please? I don't wanna leave mine where it is if i'm going to get the same problem!

Anyway, keep up the great work, i'm intruiged!

Jord R, thanks man :)

Watter gets in from several locations:

1) Inner wheel arch
2) Small gap between bumper and wing
3) Fog light area

Basically, any small in that area can let water in on the filter in situations like following a car under rainy conditions, standing water and so on. Move it up top, T-Jet engine bay is quite cool anyway (Plus, weather is much cooler in the UK than here), so get that filter out of there, a single drop in the combustion area whilst under boost is like a bolt in there

:)

PS. Photoshop would be nice :D

One clean photo (y)

those rims look real good.
congrats on the power upgrades :worship:

i'm thinking about buying a stock 120hp tjet, got any good condition turbo upgrades for sale?

Back on the stock wheels, I fancy it more that way...can't find decent abarth wheels at a reasonable price

I got the stock VL37 and the GT1446, but I'm not near the UK, dunno what transport is like to there

PS. I see you're from AUS, that's even further away

I've been a bit busy the last few days

GP10.jpg

- New oil Selenia Abarth 10W50
- New oil filter
- New spark plugs
- Cleaned air filter

- Abarth badge on the front grill

And a small run, 100-200 at 700m altitude

:)

DYNO4.jpg

Dyno Run, T-Jet TD04 @ 300m altitude with 47C Intake temp. Not enough cooling on Dyno, 47C relates to above 30C ambient temp, with the intake temps at a more normal level, 230 is possible - Even though I run lower compression (9.8 stock, ~9.4 for me) turns out I've done good on the head porting

Just 1.17bar 6000rpm!

221hp crank / 187 wheels

PS. I don't know why torque levels are that low, must be the high rpm/high intake temp. But, I run almost constant peak torque from 4000 rpm to 6600 which is great

Thanks mate (y)

This is the least powerful it can be with the TD04 - well it can be with lower boost, City button limits the boost to 0.9 but I didn't do a run like that.

Looking at 1.4 NA cams now (Stilo, Panda, 500, Idea, Bravo) and an exhaust manifold - will bring it up to the 250 mark :D

- Bought a whole engine (176B9000, 1.2 16V 86hp) and took the cams off, they are the same as 1.4 16V NA
- Ordered Bosch EV14 380cc injectors
- Placed a new Turbo-to-downpipe gasket, original from Subaru (Long live ebay)
- Replaced all vacuum lines around the turbo with blue silicone ones

Also I will change oil make, I will run Pakelo Krypton Racing 5W50 for now. Pakelo supply Ferrari with engine oil for FIA WEC

As spring comes, there will be:

- Two new summer tires
- Brake discs + brake pads
- Maybe Koni STR.T shocks

And then, I can get on the exhaust manifold, wideband lambda and a proper tune, the target is 250hp

:D
