Many of you will will have seen my previous GP 'Tangelina Jolie' at the FiatForum shows.

Agreed with the seller that I could keep my Speedline Turinis so drove her back on the Steelies! Molly was surprisingly good on fuel for the 130 miles straight to work on Monday!

When I got home that evening I replaced the Old air filter on the GSR (came with car), changed the wheels over and added my Carbon wing mirrors, smoked indicators, Abarth rear lights and badgeless grille…. I also found a surprise.. Molly came with Eibach 30mm lowering springs. Very comfortable ride but won’t be staying as they don’t make much difference to the height!

After a good clean her paint work is in good condition. The usual pre-owner swirls which ill be working on removing over the next few ‘car times'

little photoshoot with @BenNWuk

Plans for this weekend are Abarth Headlights fitted and Forge Intercooler. I will then move onto the interior :)

Enjoy.
What did you use to clean it, it's immaculate nice wheels too

Reuuk
+1 from me they suit the car perfect. I like the dark centre on the centre caps.
+1 for what products you use to clean your car to look that good!!!

Thanks,
I used Carbon collective & Juicy Details products this time around..

Carbon Collective satsuma snow foam
Juicy details Apple bomb shampoo

Didn't top sealant up this time but it's sealed with...

Carbon collective wheel & window sealant
Juicy details berry carnuba wax

I'm gonna get really boring now Reuuk but when cleaning am I right in thinking you'd do the following;

Prerinse with jet wash
Snow foam for a set time period with satsuma snow foam
Rinse off with jet wash
Apple bomb shampoo applied with wash mit/sponge
Rinse off with jet wash again
Dry

Am I close? Looking at buying a jet wash with snow foam lance but never had the time or interest to look into washing as it seems like a mine field. Makes the world of difference to how your car looks though when it's properly washed.

Yeah i dont pre wash with jet wash though. I let the snow foam pre wash bite the dirt for about 15minutes.

i dont use sponges as they dont lift the dirt from the paint work, using a wash mitt i use the 2bm ( two bucket method) ( wash mitt in with shampoo, glide across bodywork and then mitt in the second bucket with just water in to rinse and repeat)
I also start top of car and work down.

So..

Snowfoam pre wash
Rinse after 15-20min
Shampoo with wash mitt using 2bm
Go over heavy soiled areas (front of skirts etc)
Rinse
Dry.

And obviously every 4-6 weeks i will refresh the sealant with a wax/long term spray sealant. I will polish if i feel is needed for any Imperfections in the paint.

I would recommend clay mitt/bar your paint work also to get rid of and road film/tar/tree sap etc prior to any polishing.. :) this only needs doing twice a year at most imo.

Hope i didnt bore you :')

Not bored, informed!
Still sounds like a lot of effort though haha, I prefer spending my Saturday mornings eating. Bacon butty then playing/watching rugby in all honesty haha

I do wanna make more of an effort though. Be more inclined if people didn't use my car as there door stops in car parks though

Nothing like a good bacon buttie with an egg or two haha.
I know the feeling. I just park a little further back. Everybody wants to park as close to the doors as they can.. So the further away you are.. Hopefully the safer your car is lol!

I accept your point, but have a very lazy view on walking.
Jet wash, snow foam lance and carbon collective satsuma snow foam on its way :p
I already have a wish list basket of around £60 of things for next month along with a couple of buckets and wash mitts etc. So it begins .......

Overdue update...

Unfortunately I was involved in an accident at the start of April, the car has been written off by the insurance company as a Category C (cost more to repair than the value of the car).
apart from sustaining whiplash and a shoulder injury I am alright.

I can upload pictures when I'm at home. but unfortunately this T-jet will no longer be at any forum meets. :(

as for another car. I'm in the process of viewing others.

Oh no!! :( The main thing is you're relatively unscathed. Are you hoping to get another Fiat?

I am looking into sticking with Fiats yes. I know the engines like the back of my hand so will be keeping in my knowledge hopefully :) and I've met some amazing people through this forum, many of which I'm good friends with.

I already knew this but it is still sad news :(
Yeah.. thought it was about time it went on here now its confirmed.

I was hoping that you wouldn't have to post this @Reuuk :(
