Panda My Panda Eleganza

Introduction

Hi all, thought it was about time to start a MM thread about my Panda. I'll start with a bit about myself, I'm 20, male and have had a few FIAT's to my name. :D

I posted in the Panda section a few months back about upgrading from my Seicento to the Panda, and snapped it up :p 26k FSH and all the toys for £3k! Bargain in my eyes.

Anyway a bit about the car! She's a cocktail blue Eleganza with skydome and all the other toys you'd expect.. climate, alloys etc :D

One with my old Sei!

And one of my Old 126 BIS

Some of you may have read about my dent in the drivers wing, i bought the car like this and it has knocked the light slightly.. it's not too bad but something i would like to sort out when i can afford it

Oh and i've fitted the Panda blinds too, imo makes the car look a bit better :D
Thanks :)
I got mine from a guy on ebay, his account name is panelspainted4u

Hope this link works;

The bumper looks good and is a good match, but took weeks for delivery as he uses a delivery company that hire out other people. Could be worth an email, although not sure what you'd expect delivery to be in ireland. He did say to me on the phone he had sent parts out to Norway and other parts of europe before!

Looking on there now there aren't any Panda bumpers in cocktail blue :

Edit: Cost me £130 and £20 delivery

EDIT: I hav emailed to see if he can supply one and get an outline of cost so I can try raise the funds!

My unpainted cost £60 all in but I doubt I could get it painted professionally for £150 as I was quoted over £400 to do a driver and passenger door last year. Might send a wee email whenever funds are better. Looks like I need a new exhaust and battery (on top of my ongoing audio upgrade). I had a look at him before actually, but he didnt have any Blu Cocktail Romantico parts then either

With mine being an Active I could get away with a black bumper, but I have always been proud of having an active with body coloured bumpers lol. Doesnt seem to be many about, and I think the colour deserves it.

The ad the Fiat dealer placed for mine was for Turquoise so was delighted when it was blu cocktail. It really likes a good polish and shines up really well that its almost metalic looking! Many people remark about my "new" car, and think I'm winding them up when I tell them its 5 years old and hasn't had a wash in months (I use finish kare sealant so every rain shower is a car wash lol).

Never clayed a car actually! Although would love to give it a go! I would love to learn a bit more detailing
It was just a wash with normal car shampoo, polished with Mer (don't do this often) and then my dad's secret.. (might be a bit taboo).. lightly polished with sheen multi purpose polish! It shines it up a treat :D (Although, not sure of the long term effects, but i can't see it being that bad!) Also used a micro-fibre cloth, can't stand water marks! haha

Edit, it does have skydome.. used fast glass on every glass panel (except windscreen!)

Need to get yourself over to detailing world. Just make sure you have plenty of money before you do lol!

Thought i'd update about this car as i had my MOT today..

I knew the front pads were on their way out, turns out i needed disks too. MOT, disks and pads - £183.. so not too bad really :)

They gave me a pass sheet, but on examiner initially failed the car for having a FiatForum sticker here:

It's still there though :slayer:
