Firstly, I apologise if this has been done before. Secondly, it might only get one or two replies, but ill contribute first and see what happens.

1. The other day I sprayed deodrant, got sidetracked by the tv and had to ask my mrs if i'd sprayed already. Seems to be happening a lot lately

2. Recently repainted my door handle and whilst putting them back on, I screwed too far, causing the screw to go through the handle, making a nice hole where i'd just painted.

3. Tried to top my oil up in the wind today, strangely enough, oil went everywhere but in my car. One of those things where you think "i shouldnt do this, but im gonna....oh **** i should have waited"

i picked up deodorant instead of shaving foam.

went looking for my hammer, when it was on the bench in front of me

and to top it off this morning i got dressed into my civies n only noticed as i got in the car, had to go put work clothes on

You're missing out that you locked your keys in the car whilst fiddling about with the handles. How did you even get into the car in the end?

Offered to make everyone a cuppa at work, I always let everyone else's stew while I make mine, go to take the tea bags out, I'd forgotten to put them in! Just 4 mugs of hot water and milk...

I managed to remove an engine and forget to put any support under it, it went crash bang wallop to the ground, but those FIRE engines are robust

dislocated finger whilst rebuilding a washing machine, got it sorted, went back to rebuilding it, dislocated another finger doing the same part

kept my old bank card - went to pay - accidentally gave my old card to them! DOH!! Declined

Thats hardly stupid, easily done

A while back when I lived in Thailand:

The plug socket on the wall had fallen "into" the wall, so I pulled it back out again. In doing so, the wires at the back became detached. Without thinking, I just pushed them back in with my fingers - cue a bang and a very large jolt which sent me flying back onto the bed behind me ...

In a similar vein, a few years back I was driving a long and my car started misfiring badly, stopped and popped the bonnet to find one of the ht leads had come off, no problem I thought I'll just pop it back on… with the engine still running, cue my hand completing the circuit… 12,000v shock holy hell that hurt!

I've only ever had a jolt from a petrol mower HT lead, but that was enough to make sure I never do the same again with any HT lead.

Done the Pull the HT off a Coil pack - Oh boy that hurts....

Stupidest thing I've done for a while is tapping my check when bored with what I thought was a pen with the lid on.

Went out last night. Gave my keys to my mate to save. On the way home they got out the taxi, with my keys. Got home at 4:45AM and had to ring the mother up to open the door.

Spent an hour looking for my specs and getting annoyed because everyone thought it was funny that I'd lost them.

Turns out they were laughing at me because my specs were on my face and I was looking through them the whole time. Turd.

Showing my nephews how to do stunts on a BMX I managed to land a 360 into the path of a tree. Dislocated shoulder. No problem. Popped four ribs from my breast plate putting it back and now it feels like I'm being stabbed whenever I sneeze, laugh or go from sitting to upright.

got suckers in by advertising and product placement, bought peri-peri pot noodle, had 2 forks worth and put it in the bin :yuck:
