Fitting the new Steering Wheel

Now, get the replacement steering wheel and slide it onto the steering column, ensure it is positioned properly, straight ahead in the same position as the old one was before it was removed.

Now place the washer, hand tighten the 24mm nut and replace the springs.

Once you're happy with the position of the wheel tighten the nut using your 24mm spanner or socket.

Before fitting the horn push reconnect the battery and take the car for a test drive to ensure that the steering wheel is correctly positioned. If may need adjusted to get it dead centre.

Once happy refit the horn push and you're done.

Don't throw the old wheel away! It's nice to be able to return the car to original trim. :)
