Hey guys. its me again. I have had this issue for a long time. I have changed 3 temperature sensors of the engine but the engine check keeps turning on after some time and when i check the error it shows that the sensor has failed . What can cause this

If you've replaced the sensor 3 times, i'd say it's not the sensor. Most likely to be the connector terminals on the plug, or a break in the wiring somewhere.

The level of the temperature shows as normall neither cold or hot. Is the solution u provided still valid?

HI Andy, we're missing (as usual) useful informations here:

- what GP model
- what temperature sensor

FYI the MAP sensor measures the manifold air pressure and also (as you stated) the air temperature AFTER the intercooler.
The intake air temperature is measured by the MAF. Other temp sensors are for the coolant , but there is one also for the fuel (and maybe even oil ?) !
Maybe the original poster have replaced the wrong one ???

Regards, Bernie

edit: coolant temperature was in the title, shame on me ! Anyway my comments and the given infos are still valid ;-)
