I took the plastic bit off the back of the boot (inside the boot) and there's a rubber seal that goes out into the bumper for number plate lights I believe.

Hi guys,

Do these work with all of the steering wheel controls (i.e can you answer phone calls etc.) or is it just volume and skipping tracks?

Cheers.

Im looking at getting one of these soon but I'm not sure about 1 thing which is holding me back. On the satnav software (I'm assuming this is iGo primo) do you get traffic updates etc? Im using copilot on my phone at the moment and I get pretty good traffic updates and routing on the fly and its something I will definitely need. I would of thought you could get them with the 3g dongle but wanted to be sure.

Hi

Where have you guys out your external mics (assuming you're using them)? Trying to find a place I can hide mine but still have it pick up sound.

Mine is in my glove box haha. Was gonna try get it up to the interior light but don't think the cable is long enough, so I might try get it in the drivers side pillar and see how much I can be heard.
Can you turn the nagging woman completly off on the sat nav?

Give it a little bit of a push and glove boxed the cables dude was straight forward

Hey man, welcome.

To fit it is very easy, simply take out one and clip new one in.
I haven't tried to get the TV thing to work as I think you need something extra to get it to work and tbh I've got no need for the TV to work.
And the Bluetooth works well imo. For calls and for playing music through without having to plug in your device.
Hope this helps.

Hi Ryan, thank you, i think i will stick around here as i am planning on making my grande look a better than it is, ive gone from an active sport to a eleganze and i cant get used to new look haha need some decent wheels, rear spoiler and i reckon this stereo.
thanks for replying, that sounds simple enough, i seen the picture in the thread with all the wires etc and i thought there is no way i could work that out

Yeah I thought that at first but it's a block of wires and you just clip the block in. Then there's a few others to clip in but it's dead easy to work out as they will either only go in one slot, one way or they have a label on them. Really easy, it took me like 20 mins. The reversing cam took longer but that was getting a cable from the front to the back.

Yeah I agree with everything ryan said, easy peasy. On the TV front I know the seller was also selling an analogue tv tuner but obviously only digital works on the UK now.

i assume i could put films or summit on sd card or usb and play through that though aye?
btw where in tyne and wear are ya from?

I'm also on Instagram @The_Waugh should have a look on there!

Shame mate , where you based now?

Nice mate, Exactly the same as my old one (before you done the changes) i loved it but had to change to get aircon for dog, my new one is still nice but desperately need to get the rear spoiler on and new wheels, even if i can just get same alloys as on my last one (same as you originally started with) it would look a lot better.

I'm living in Great Yarmouth now mate.
