Hi guys, Im thinking about having my car serviced for the first time. Its done 15000 miles and i know the manual says have it done at 18000 miles but i feel it should be done as its starting to act up a bit.

I just wanted to ask does anyone know how much it should cost for the first service? (preferably at a fiat service centre)

Dunno where you bought it or conditions of the "club" but arnold clarks "Grande Punto Club" is cheap as they come.

Nope, its 18000 miles in my handbook... but what i didnt notice was the small print saying EITHER 18000 or 12 months, which ever occurs first.
 
I mentioned the engine size a few posts above.. its a 1.4 t jet.

Ye you're right, the search isn't great i tried to find previous info on the first service but couldnt so i started this new thread..

I'm rather confused coz my handbook says T-jet requires an oil change at 12000 miles or one year.
 
ye thats most probably right, the oil should be changed every 12000 miles or one year which ever is first. But for a full first service it says 18000 miles in my handbook.

Im just really confused now lol i've had enough of searching around im just going to get my first service done on monday, it cant do any harm(y)
