(T) engine differences between gp abarth and t-jet

exactly my point mate. if you can achieve 160 why convert it to abarth? unless if you want to squeeze the most out of it. any way he might want to wait for the multiair system so he can apply this aswell.

if you switch to the abarth turbo you can get mor power as the abarth turbo is different tot he 120.

so there is no need to be the abarth turbo.he could just use any good big after market one or is this a bad idea?

you can. but no1 has done it yet that i know of.

You could but it just complicates stuff even more. You need new manifold/adapter plates made up to the new turbo can be used. Might need standalone management who knows.

Personally i would put the abarth turbo on it, FMIC, exhaust inc decat then map it and you should be pretty close to 200bhp.

with t-jet turbo you can achieve max 152 ps ( 135-137 ps wheels)....it's the maximum turbo limit....nobody t-jet owner here in greece,achieved 160+ ps,......also one reason which i prefer abarth's turbo is because i can achieve 182 ps without exchaust modifications...only a remap and that's all....its straightforward....a second reason : the abarth's turbo pressure, is lower 0,1bar in average from t-jet's turbo,this is an important factor for the engine-life.... a third reason : the cost of this modification is relatively low....(max 1500 eyro )

You can if you put a free flowing exhaust on and a proper induction kit i have seen the graphs with my own eyes.

Over here £300 for an exhaust, £200 for an induction. Not very high. These can still be used if you decide to get the abarth turbo anyway and are still likely to give you a power increase.

ok...sounds good! personally, i bought a used abarth exaust from ebay for 100 eyros...and saved a lot of money...

i had a custom exhaust center make me a downpipe back system for £250. roughly 250euros.
