(G) Help!! MP3/Blue & Me not working!!!

Need some help please guys!!

I have my ipod plugged into the USB port of my GP, it normally works fine apart from shuffling th song order up!! However, the other day it suddenly refused to let me change the track and stick on one song. The phone buttons on the steering wheel are also not responding!!

The track change buttons on the steering wheel work fine with CD but not with the ipod!!!

Any ideas???

Happened to me dealer did a proxy alignment and all was well again. You could try removing negative terminal from the battery for 20mins that should reset the car's computers.

Forced restart is required using examiner, ask the dealer to check for software update as there was an update released three weeks ago.

What causes it out of intrest?.

LOL its a microsoft system, I believe Fiat were going to fit a blue screen especially for it.

Say no more is it a microsoft bug with their computer or a fiat one ?

So is it worh trying the battery terminal thing or should it go back to fiat?? Cheers for the help!!

take it to fiat dealer in case the unit needs software update

what is the latest update? i have got an update from my dealer but not sure it is the latest cos the sms reader no longer works now

The update was released a few weeks ago and is for selected software, it needs to be checked by examiner and then reprogrammed if the software is


6135 or 6151 or 6278 or 6314.

If the Software is NOT one of the above versions, there is no need to update.
