i have recently changed the clutch in my ducato 2.0 jtd 2003 model, i was wondering where do i refill the gearbox oil from? all i can see is a breather cap and a reverse sensor. also i cant see a sump plug to drain remaining oil out.
any i deas as to wot to look for ?

also i need to change my rear drum brake pads as i can hear a slight grinding when i brake. thay dont seem to want to come off after takin gof the release pins, are they just stuck a bit and in need of a heavy clout or is there a way of releasing the pads through the 2 small holes on the inner drum?

id be grtefull for sum advice on these matters thanx

- Introduce the oil into the gearbox casing via the gearbox oil vapour breather opening.
As there is no opening for checking the oil level, stick to the quantities of oil recommended below.

BRAKES
1. Release the shoe return springs (1a) and (1b) on one side.
2. Release the shoe retaining springs (2a), then remove the pins (2b) from behind.
3. Remove the shoes (3a) and (3b); keep the shoe wear recovery device (3c) and, if necessary, release it from the handbrake cable (3d).
REFITTING
- Place the shoes in position with the wear recovery device and connect the handbrake cable.
- Refit the shoe retaining springs and the pins.
- Attach the shoe retaining springs.
1. If new brake shoes are being fitted, the adjustment screw (1a) and the rod (1b) for the shoe wear recovery device must be placed in contact with the shoe (device fully tightened), then undo the toothed ring nut (1c) by half a turn.
See 2nd attached pic
Hope this helps!
