Hi All,

Picked up a lovely silver M150 last week on an 08 plate with only 68K miles on the clock. It is the latest Fiat to go through my hands over the years (127 1300GT, Uno Turbo, Tipo Sedicivalvole, Tipo 1.6DGT, Bravo 1.2 - Went from a 2.0 16V Tipo to a 1.6 as I moved back to Ireland and the cheapest insurance quote I could get for it was £3,000!!!)

Being a private sale I had the timing belt and alternator belt + fuel, oil and air filters replaced as a matter of course earlier this week (non too soon in the case of the belts as they had quite a few cracks beginning to show on the inside). I replaced the tyres with Nokian WR D4s (225/45/17 91H) in anticipation of a bit of ice coming along soonish.

Next up is the suspension and I have a few questions that might be answered here. I live in Ireland and the roads that I use are not really good enough for typical suspension kits (i.e. coilover setups with 50mm lowering) and I think there is an 20mm or so difference with the damper width on the Sport versions?

Am I correct in that the Bravo 198 Sport use the same damper as the Stilo 2.4?
Bilsteins are impossible to get hold of?
Koni Yellow Sports are still available (Part No: 8741-1456Sport)?
There is a Sachs alternative (Part No: 314 627)?

Has anyone used the above and can give recommendations? Also from what I can gather the Bilstein B6 on the rears are a good match?

Thanks,
Robbie

First job suspension wise completed. Needed to replace the rear bushes...
A good 12 hour bath in WD40 needed to free it all up :)
I went with Fiat OEM this time around as the Alfa Mito Powerflex conversion looked a bit complicated.

Fair bit of distortion showing, can't be good for the suspension geometry.
