Well I had to buy a tax disk this week so that officially marks 1 year of Bravo ownership. I thought I'd use this oportunity to give my thoughts on the car, and how it's been through the last 12 months and 19,000 miles.

Problems:

Radio continued playing despite being switched off. Issue fixed itself and has not re-occoured.
Air-con pressure switch failed causing no air-con. Fixed within days.
Rear wash pipe detached inside tailgate. Fixed within days.
Crunching noise from indicator stalk. Fixed within days.
Engine in 'safe mode'. Took a few days to diagnose and fix.

So that's it. Hasn't broken down, and so far has given me nearly 20,000 miles of shear driving bliss. I still look forward to driving anywhere in the Bravo. Even driving to work on a Monday morning has a highlight!

I'm seeing more and more Bravo's about. Today I was parked next to an almost identical black Bravo. As I was walking away the driver was coming back, we didn't exchange words but a smile which said "Nice car, I know you're enjoying it"

Good to hear. Ours is now 10 months old and 23k miles. 2 warranty issues in that time, a noisy window seal (now fixed) and a worn droplink (also now fixed). Its been to Italy and back once and is going again in Sept :)

One other issue with the Blue and Me chucking a wobbly and didnt display info on the display screen, which lasted around 2 weeks then fixed itself!

Just had new front tyres fitted asell, went for Good Year Excellium. The GF just looked blank when I asked her how they felt compared to the Conti,s!

so were did you get it serviced thought you were coming rayrigg or did you and i just missed it lol

Got it done at my local 'specialists'. Didn't realise but I was already past the 18,000 and pushing on the allowed 19,000 so got it done ASAP. Plus with all the work they had done on the Tipo seemed only fair to give them the Service work too...

Still... if you'd been open late on Thurs you could have sold Bunny a bottle of engine oil... Want to do a medium mileage oil change on a Croma? :p

people high up at fiat need to be sacked and beaten in public for allowing this issue to remain after all these years. i guess nothing is learnt from previous mistakes.

Did the Stilo lose it's rear squirter? If not it's just model name re-enforcement.

we don't keep much bottles oil anyway except in the petrol shop but it's all overpriced castorol

it wouldn't be a fiat if the rear washer pipe didnt burst off in the cold

but you'd be glad it's there when your pipes freeze and don't burst because of it

nothing like the french on one vehicle they managed to position 2 links in the pipe above two ecus that can both disable the vehicle great fun when they pop off
