So I was going through a local car site and found this advert for wheels in the classifieds.

Set of 4 brand new M6 alloy wheels. Diameter:18", Width :8J, 5 studs, PCD :120.

Basically, what i need to know is will these fit a Fiat Brava 1.9TD. I know i could have looked it up in the manual, but the truth is i'm hopeless when it comes to wheels and tires ... hell i don't even know how much i should pump the tires (i'm new to driving to i'm exused maybe).

Also while we're at it, could someone explain how to open and close the fuel filler cap in a quick way. I'm becoming bored of people tooting their horns at me because it takes me longer to close it than it does to fill up the tank and pay.

4 studs?

I'm pretty sure my car had 5 studs  I figured out as far. Its more the actual wheel the wheels fit without hitting the arches that worries me.

no, you want 4 stud pcd 98mm (or 100mm with special bolts) wouldnt fit bigger than 17s myself, and i think the with is a bit big as well

Yup you might fit bigger than 17's a few people of fiatboo.co.uk have done it, with a good amount of work. You wont fit pcd 120 or 5 stud without adapters and there a whole headache of trouble by the sounds of them.

SOrry if I may sound like a total idiot right now. but doesn't "stud" refer to the number of bolts the wheel has.

the above picture is a pic of my wheels ... there are five nuts there:confused:

hahaha, they arent nuts, they are just fake nuts on the plastic wheel trim. take it off and there are only 4 bolts behind.

in that pic you have your towing eye in place on the front bumper. it shouldnt be there unless you are getting towed. unscrew it and stick it in the boot where the spare wheel tool kit is. theres a place for it in the tool kit holder. (y)

Don't worry, we all have to start somewhere :) Cut the tag, lever the trim off and you should see the proper studs behind. Dave gives good advice with wheels fitments, popular choices on the Bravo/a are 15,16 or 17ins :)

The towing eye has been removed ;) Some kind person here pointed that out to me when i first posted pics.

And i'm lmao when you told me the 5 studs are fake. However, its good news as 5 stud wheels are a pain to find here in malta (hence why i was gonna go for the second hand beemer wheels).

Thanks guys :D So it looks like i'm not gonna be having these wheels ... coolio

The crazy 5 stud, 120pcd, 8J x 18" ones..

ye those wheels :p

No worry, i'll just find Jug's car and knick his wheels :p

... actually i can't do that since i'll probably spend a day looking for the 5th bolt ... which doesn't exist
