I have a Bravo 1.4 SX, Mostly stock at the mo, im just thinking what things can i do to it?, I really could do with some new wheels for starters, but im open to any advice Thanks

Marea polyelliptical lights with HID lamps, a mod that actually makes a difference.

New kyb shocks freshened up the handling on my 2000 1.8. Lowering springs are pretty cheap too if you're doing this.

Nice twin pipe exhaust trim to make it look like you spent loads on a decent exhaust

Have a gander through members motors, theres a good few Bravos, each with different modifiactions, that should give you ideas

If I had a 1.4 the first thing I'd do is ditch that engine and drop in a 1.6...

recon the top end. fiat stopped using that engine because the top ends are weak

Thanks guys, i would swap the 1.4 for a 1.6 but im only 18 so insurance aint on my side for a few years, What kind of top end are you thinking of? 1.6?

Would'nt mind lowering it a few mm, but alloys are an essential at the moment as mine are on their last legs, got a slow puncture on one tyre, so if anyone knows anyone selling some wheels, pref 17's, lemme know

That car didnt cost much to buy and build as I had all the bits to hand. Just new parts like a full timing belt kit and front arms added to the cost. In total it cost me about €450 to buy the car and build it

The lensos are very hard to get a hold of, especially in 4x98pcd!

I do love the colour of your Bravo, always wanted the blue one, My engine is completely fine on mine, Low mileage so shouldn't expect anything to go wrong yet , bit sluggish though.

I found a set of the S7's on ebay that have really tempted me, PCD is 4x100, so those wobbly bolt thingys should do the job .
As for now, i have taken off those punto alloys i had due to spinning out on a roundabout this morning (tyres are bald!) and stuck the stock 14' steelies on until next friday when i get paid.

Best to give the valverockers a good look anyway. The 1.4 has a nasty habbit of clogging the oil channels that lubricate the rockers, leading to worn camshafts and badly running engines. And the best repair is always prevention! Just take of the oil filler cap with the engine running. You should be able to see a lot of oil happily splashing about under there.

Checked the engine, Everythings all good, so gonna stick with the 1.4 till something happens.

My Alloys started to crack and the tyres were way beyond the limit so i've stuck the steelies on until sunday, My mate has sold me a set of 16's off a golf, just gotta get the Wobbly bolts, unless someone has a set they will sell

Debadged the whole car aswell (Minus the front badge :worship: ) and also removed the rear wiper (just gotta figure out how to take the whole thing off!)

I also did abit a bodge with the folding seats, as im a bmxer, my bikes gotta get in the car, and the folding seats aint really useful as that bar gets in the way!!.
