I attend this event each year, always a good turn out, with a good variety of cars, I've not called it a show, it's more of a gathering good atmosphere, somehow the sun has always graced this event so that is a bonus.
Would be great to see a few Barchetta's here, so if your interested post here and I will submit an application form.
Big plus it's Free.

Hi,
Did any-one go to the event, any photos, weather okay, how many Barchettas? I need to know as you wetted my appetite and I could not visit.

Yes, Dave and I attended, It was a good general turn out of a mixture of cars, bikes and tractors etc. The weather was perfect and the atmosphere and friendliness of people attending and visitors made for the day. One visitor even told us of a Barchetta that as remained unused in some one's garden for several years. Dave is to investigate. Dave took the photos and I expect him to down load them soon. We talked about organising a Barchetta ride out one Sunday. First idea's were based around Mow Cop Castle, Jodrel Bank, and Hammerton Boat lift. Would any others be interested and have idea's and places of interest to visit in the North West area.

Apologies for the late reply, holidays directly after this event.

As Brian says nice turn out of all types of vehicles, this event is always well supported nice to just look around at other peoples pride and joys. Great to have Brian's Barchetta along, gave us the opportunity to talk about our cars, discuss mods and fixes that we have both done to our cars. Had the pleasure of parking up to a very nice Fiat 500, a bit of a star, featuring in Top Gear, Cheshire life to name but two. Great to talk with the owner really nice guy.

Would be great if we could sort a North West Barchetta meet up/ drive out. Liking the idea of a vist to Jodrel Bank, then perhaps pub lunch maybe.

Regarding the Barchetta that we were told about, it really is in a poor state, not been used for 6 years, holes in the hood, couldn't get into the car as the locks had seized, so a re-visit is to be sorted. Was hoping that it could be resurrected but I fear the worst regarding the floor pan.

That's what is so nice about this event Steve, so relaxed no best in show or trophies to be contested, just good conversation, not my thing but a jazz band twanging away, all adds up to an enjoyable afternoon, and as a bonus the sun came out to play, as it does every year.
