Hi.
My 500 is 1.4, 2010 with 83000km, sometimes lately when i pull the gear to R, it won't go only if i try again - it happens on cold starts only.
Yesterday i tried to reverse it again - i heard and felt some clutch noise like trying to enter the gear but no succeed, so i turnd the car off and started it again - then had no problems (should have moved the lever to N but got scared for a second).

Does this mean the clutch replacement time is near?
Are these the simptomes i should get when needed to replace it?

nope that means the dualogic system is weird = ) The clutch should be fine!

My advice? Keep on driving!

Genius!

I seem to remember that this advice cost you 1200Euro:worship:
once its broken its broken = ) my dualogic warranty expires in march for this car so i will get the fluid level checked then to see all is ok = )

Thanks guys, just go to the dealer and ask them to check the gearbox fluid, have any idea how much should this cost?

Also - i've never seen any leaking / missing fluid, if there was any im guessing the gearbox was already dead, i drive it alot like 15000km a year.
I did serviced the car 2 weeks ago, asked them to check it and they said its clean with no leaking signs, just hope they really checked this up like they should.

No way to check the fluid by myself ah? its pretty annoying that you cant even check it by ECUSCAN or Torque Pro, from what i know the 500 doesnt have any gear sensor only error signs over the lcd.

So today i turned the car on again and pushed the gear lever to Reverse, then i heard some grinding noise like the first time when i opened that thread (like the gear / clutch trying to enter but no succeed), and the car couldn't get to Reverse or 1st gear, so tried the Neutral and reverse / 1st gear again with grinding noise - the noise is coming only on reverse.
I turned off the car and started it again this time it went smooth through Reverse and 1st gear with no problem.

The garages are closed until Tuesday (holiday) so i'll have to wait.

I took a picture under the car to look for any leaking, there you can see some on the metal part but i have no idea if its fresh or gear related - maybe one of you can tell?
There were no signs on the road / floor wherever i parked, not today and not few months ago.
This thing gets me worried and mad.. :bang:
